Artemisia stelleriana Boughton Silver forms a low, spreading mat of aromatic, deeply lobed silver-gray foliage for sunny borders, gravel gardens, and containers. Small yellow flower heads rise on taller stems in late summer and early fall.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and avoid heavy, wet ground. Established plants tolerate drought, and the foliage can be cut to the base in fall.
