Vivid reddish-pink, tulip-shaped flowers make Clematis Princess Diana a strong choice for covering a fence, arbor, or trellis from early summer into fall. Cream and maroon stamens show inside each bloom, while twining leaf stalks hold the deciduous vine to its support. Mature growth reaches about 8 to 13 feet tall and 20 to 40 inches wide.
Plant it in moisture-retentive, well-drained soil with the crown slightly below the surface. Give the stems full sun or partial shade while keeping the roots cool and shaded.
