Clematis Warszawska Nike climbs to about 1.5-2.5 m and carries large single velvety reddish-purple flowers with bright yellow stamens from June through September.
Train the stems over a trellis, fence, wall support, or pergola in sun or partial shade. Give the roots moist but well-drained soil, keep the base cool, and plant the crown slightly below soil level.
The sap can irritate skin, and the plant is harmful if eaten. Wear gloves when handling and keep it away from pets.

Lonicera henryi is a vigorous evergreen twining climber with dark green lance-shaped leaves, red-and-yellow tubular summer flowers, and black berries.
Clematis montana covers large walls and sturdy supports with vigorous green growth and masses of small white flowers in late spring.
Early Dutch honeysuckle 'Belgica' is a vigorous deciduous climber with fragrant red-pink and creamy white tubular flowers that age yellow, followed by ornamental red berries.
Clematis Doctor Ruppel covers a trellis or patio support with large pale pink flowers crossed by deep reddish-pink central bars in early summer and again near fall.
