Rhododendron Silberwolke is a dense, rounded evergreen shrub with dark green leaves and abundant spring flower trusses. Purplish-pink buds open into frilled pale pink flowers that mature toward silvery white, with a light yellow-green marking inside.
Its low, broad habit fits shaded borders, courtyards, and large containers. Plant it in moist, well-drained, humus-rich acidic soil with shelter from drying wind. The shallow roots benefit from regular watering and pine-bark mulch. All parts are harmful if eaten by people, pets, or grazing animals.
